November 2025 is a Beaver Moon- and a supermoon!

The Beaver Moon takes its name from early Native American tribes as well as American colonists, according to the Old Farmer's Almanac, when beavers begin sheltering in their lodges after gathering enough food to last the winter.

All genders are welcome to this drumming circle and ritual. Bring your own drum/instruments BUT some drums are available. In person in the herchurch sanctuary.

Drum pictured is a djembe. This goblet-shaped drum is traditionally carved from a single piece of African hardwood and topped with an animal skin as a drumhead. In western understanding, the drum belongs to the membranophone class of instruments in the percussion family. They are called membranophones because sound is created by vibration of membrane stretched tight.
