March 2025 is a Worm Moon.
The Old Farmers' Almanac, which first began publishing the names for the full moons in the 1930s, states that some refer to the full Moon in March as the "Worm Moon" because earthworms are thought to appear around this time as the ground thaws from winter. In some Native American traditions, the worm moon is seen as a time of renewal and rebirth, as the earth begins to thaw and the worms return to the soil, bringing nutrients and vitality to the land. It is also associated with the start of spring and the awakening of new life after the cold winter months. The Worm Moon represents finding your equilibrium and tapping into your inner-self, especially when it comes to relationships and personal growth- the ultimate balancing act. This beautiful lunation can also invite an internal assessment of people-pleasing tendencies.

Drum pictured is a djembe. This goblet-shaped drum is traditionally carved from a single piece of African hardwood and topped with an animal skin as a drumhead. In western understanding, the drum belongs to the membranophone class of instruments in the percussion family. They are called membranophones because sound is created by vibration of membrane stretched tight.
