Full Moon Drum Circle and Witchiness

July is the Buck Moon. The antlers of bucks are in full growth this month. Bucks grow and shed their antlers throughout the year, producing a larger and more impressive set as years go by.

Drumming and ritual. All genders welcome. Bring your own drum/instruments BUT some drums are available. In person in the herchurch sanctuary.

Proof of vaccination required.

Drum pictured is a
djembe. This goblet-shaped drum is traditionally carved from a single piece of African hardwood and topped with an animal skin as a drumhead. In western understanding, the drum belongs to the membranophone class of instruments in the percussion family. They are called membranophones because sound is created by vibration of membrane stretched tight.
