This month is the Flower Moon- in 2022, this will be a Super Blood Flower Moon. The moon will pass into Earth’s shadow, causing a total lunar eclipse- causing the “blood.” This will be one of the biggest and fullest full moons of 2022- hence “super.”

Drum pictured is a djembe. This goblet-shaped drum is traditionally carved from a single piece of African hardwood and topped with an animal skin as a drumhead. In western understanding, the drum belongs to the membranophone class of instruments in the percussion family. They are called membranophones because sound is created by vibration of membrane stretched tight.
